Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Sortcut website at sortcut.co and the Sortcut Chrome extension (together, the "Service"), provided by Current Culture ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Sortcut is a browser extension that re-orders the Instagram posts shown in your own browser by engagement, lets you export that data, and transcribes the audio of reels you choose. Sortcut is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account. One subscription is for one person and may not be shared.

3. Subscriptions and payment

  • Sortcut Pro costs ₹499 per month or ₹3,999 per year, inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period using the payment mandate you approve, until you cancel.
  • A free plan is available with limited features. Paid features are listed on our Pricing page.
  • Pro Monthly includes 200 transcriptions per billing month, and unused ones expire at the end of that month. Pro Yearly includes 3,000 transcriptions for the 12-month period, and unused ones expire at the end of it.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, stalk or target any individual.
  • Publish or redistribute transcripts or data in a way that infringes anyone's copyright or privacy.
  • Reverse engineer, resell or share access to the Service, or try to get around usage limits.
  • Use the Service in a way that breaks any applicable law, or Instagram's terms as they apply to you.

You are responsible for how you use the data and transcripts you get through the Service. Content on Instagram belongs to its creators.

6. Availability

Sortcut depends on Instagram, Google Chrome and third-party transcription providers. Changes they make may interrupt or limit features without notice. We'll work to restore features quickly, but we can't promise uninterrupted service.

7. Intellectual property

The Sortcut name, logo, website and software belong to Current Culture. Your exports and transcripts are yours to use, subject to the rights of the original content owners.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
