Frequently asked questions
What does Sortcut do?
It ranks any Instagram profile's reels and posts by views, likes, comments or outlier score, right on the Instagram page in Chrome. It can also turn any reel's speech into a text file.
What is an outlier score?
A reel's views divided by that profile's median views. A 20x score means twenty times the account's usual numbers. It shows what really broke out for that account, whatever its size.
Do you need my Instagram password? Can the creator tell?
No, and no. Sortcut only reads what Instagram already shows in your own logged-in browser. It never posts, likes, follows or comments.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan sorts any profile by views, likes or comments across the last 30 days of posts, and exports to Google Sheets, CSV, JSON or Excel. Outlier scores, transcriptions and competitor analysis are part of Pro.
What counts as one transcription?
One reel turned into one text file. Pro Monthly includes 200 a month; the count resets at the start of each billing month, and unused ones don't carry over. Pro Yearly includes 3,000 for the whole year, to use at any pace.
Which languages work?
The language is detected automatically. English comes back as it is. Hindi comes back in Hinglish (Latin script), with the original Devanagari kept below. Other languages come back in their own script.
How do I pay?
Through Razorpay, with UPI, debit or credit card, or netbanking. You'll get an invoice by email after every payment.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and then stops renewing. Payments are non-refundable, except for billing errors on our side. See the refund policy.
Does it work on Safari or my phone?
No. Sortcut is a desktop extension for Chrome and other Chromium browsers like Edge, Brave and Arc.
